Asia Pacific Studies Student awarded at the Embassy Peace Essay Competition ceremony

Congratulations to our student Callum J. Moran (Asia Pacific Studies with Korean), who was invited to attend the Korean Embassy Peace Essay Competition ceremony on the 18th November, after being awarded 2nd place.

“Attending the embassy award ceremony was a great honour. Seated at the ambassadors table, we were able to discuss politics at length over the course of an hour. It was a very insightful experience that was followed by the awards show. Mingling with the attendees, both students and representatives, was a great way to compare viewpoints on a topic so close to my heart and will surely aid me in my future work on unification.”
