Join us on Wednesday 4th December 2024 for our UCLan APS Scholarship Event. In this you learn about the opportunities available to students of UCLan focussing on the Asia Pacific Region.

These discussions include:

  • Representatives of the Taipei Representative Office in the UK (TRO) to discuss Taiwan scholarships and opportunities.
  • Pagoda Projects discussing several funded opportunities they have for UCLan students and work programmes.
  • Think Pacific focusing on projects and placements for students in South Pacific islands.
  • Associate Lecturer of Korean Studies, JaeWook Ryu, on current IKSU scholarships.
  • Lecturer in Japanese, Dr Mareike Hamann, on current scholarships:

The Discussion will be broken down by region followed by a Q&A session with the speakers for additional questions:

Pizza and refreshments provided for all attendees.

  • 1:00-1:20 –  Taiwanese scholarships and opportunities
  • 1:20-1:40 – Think Pacific student opportunities
  • 1:40-1:55 – Japanese scholarships and opportunities
  • 1:55-2:10 – Korean scholarships and opportunities
  • 2:10-2:30 –  Pagoda Projects
  • 2:30-2:45 – Global Opportunities
  • 2:45-3:00 – Q&A Session (with refreshments)
