2020 IKSU Book Essay Contest

UCLan’s International Institute of Korean Studies (IKSU) 2020 Book Essay Contest is open for applications.
Deadline is the 28th August 2020
To enter, read one of the three below books and send an essay to IKSUEnquiry@uclan.ac.uk.
– “The Vegetarian: a Novel”, Han Kang (2015)
– “Autobiography of Death”, Kim Hyesoon (2018)
– “Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982”, Cho Nam-Joo (2020)
Open to all students and public.
NOTE: For UCLan students and staff, there will be free books available (10 for each book) on a first-come, first-served basis, funded by Prof Niki Alsford.
Requests for the free books for the essay contest will be open until 12 June 2020.
You can simply email to IKSUEnquiry@uclan.ac.uk with (1) your full name, (2) name of the book you want to write an essay about, and (3) your address where the book can be posted.
